I. to change for or from, transform, transfer, remove; avertĕre, transformāre :-- He forhwyrfþ eów of ðam lande he will remove you from the land, Deut. 28, 63. Sí se man awirged, ðe forhwyrfe his freóndes landgemǽro maledictus hómo, qui transfert termĭnos proxĭmi sui, Deut. 27, 17.
