m. A bedridden man; clinicus :-- Se bedryda wearþ gehǽled sóna; and eóde him ðá hám, hál on his fótum, se ðe ǽr wæs geboren on bǽre to cyrcan the bedridden man was soon healed; and he then went home, whole on his feet, who before was borne on a bier to church, Glostr. Frag. 10, 4, 15-18.
