gen. ealdres; m. The lord of a feast; architriclīnus :-- Se drihtealdor cwæþ to ðam brýdguman the lord of the feast said to the bridegroom, Homl. Th. ii. 70, 25, 28. Se drihte ealdor ðæs wínes onbýrgde gustāvit architriclīnus vinum, Jn. Bos. 2, 9. Beraþ ðære drihte ealdre ferte architriclīno, 2, 8.
