n. A door; ostium, jānua :-- We lǽraþ, ðæt mæssepreósta oððe mynsterpreósta ǽnig ne cume binnan circan dýre búton his oferslipe we enjoin, that no mass-priest, or minster-priest, come within the church-door without his upper vestment, L. Edg. C. 46; Th. ii. 254, 9.
