m. An oil-pot (fibrous material saturated with oil (?) (cf. O. H. Ger. grinbo frixorium, cremium vel siccamina lignorum: Ger. griebe fibrous remains of lard, &c. after being fried):--Elegreóuena naptarum (the passage is: incendia naptarum fomite succensa: cf. heordena, tyrwena naptarum, An.
