Property consisting of cattle, cattle considered as property:--Mid .ix. scill. gebéte, and ꝥ sié on cwicǽhtum, feógodum, and mon nǽnigne mon on ꝥ ne selle (i. e. the fine was to be paid in live-stock, but cattle only, not human beings (slaves)), Ll.
