l. -tenge, and add: Contiguous, conjoint, in contact or connexion:--Gædertangne conjunctim (-um?), Wrt. Voc. ii. 136, 33. (1) of material things:--Ðá landgemǽro ðæsse búrlandes tó Abbendúne, ðæt is gadertang on þreó genamod, ðæt is Hengestes íg and Seofocanwyrð and Wihthám (i. e. the land lies altogether but it is divided into three parts, each with its own name), C.
