n. [ríp harvest] A reaping, harvest; messis :-- Ðæt geríp is micel the reaping is great, Homl. Th. ii. 530, 16. Geríp messis, Ælfc. Gr. 9, 28; Som: 11, 56: Wrt. Voc. 74, 69: Gen. 8, 22.
