f. The manner of young men :-- Hysewíse hircitallo, Wrt. Voc. ii. 43, 26. This gloss is sufficiently explained by the following quotation from Paulus' epitome of Festus, ed. Müller, p. 101 :-- Hirquitalli pueri primum ad virilitatem accedentes, a libidine scilicet hircorum dicti. Further, in the notes to this word is added, hirquitalli GREEK; irquitalus GREEK. hyse-wise
