m. One who addresses an assembly :-- Se sóðsagola raciend and déma, sé þe mid his áþenedre handa gestilleþ ꝥ gehlýd eallra manna, and hí gespaneð tó ánum dóme concionator verax extensa manu omnium tumultus sedat, eosque ad unam sententiam revocat, Gr. D. 265, 12.
