to lament, complain. I. trans. To complain of, have as a grievance :-- Gif þú gemune ꝥ þín bróðer oððe freónd áht ungeþwǽrlices wið þé gemǽne si recordatus fueris quia frater tuus habet aliquid adversum te, Gr. D. 349, 24.
