p. ede; pp. ed, To part, divide, separate; partiri, dividere, separare :-- He sceal wesan of eorþan feor adǽled he shall be far parted from the earth, Cd. 106; Th. 140, 4; Gen. 2322. Ða wǽron adǽlede ealle of ánum these were parted all from one, 12; Th. 14, 13; Gen. 218; Ps. Th. 54, 20.
