According to the Old English Dictionary:

a-hreósan

p. -hreás, pl. -hruron; pp. -hroren [a, hreósan to rush] To rush, fall, fall down; irruere, mere, corruere, decidere :-- Bleówun windas and ahruron on ðæt hús flaverunt venti et irruerunt in domum illam, Mt.
