According to the Old English Dictionary:

æt-reccan

p. -re(a)hte To declare forfeited :-- Swā . . . swā him man ætrehte bēc and land ealle þā þe hē āhte ita quod per judicium judicatus sit perdere omnia quae de rege tenuit, Cht. Th. 202, 14.
