- Add as an alternative meaning: An appointed hour, time when something is due:--Ymb ántíd óðres dógores wundenstefna gewaden hæfde þæt þá liðende land gesáwon, i. e. the boat was in sight of land at the time when it was due to be so. Cf. án-daga. an-tid
