be-hlídan

p. -hlád, pl. -hlidon; pp. -hliden [hlídan to cover] To cover over, to cover, close; tegere, claudere :-- Híg awylton ðone stán, and ðone pytt eft behlidon thei schulden turne awei the stoon, and thei schulden put. it eft on the pit, Wyc; Gen. 29, 3.
