- m. The edge of a plank :-- Bordremum rimis (the passage to which the gloss belongs is: 'Rimis patentibus intravit mare,' which is translated: 'Geoniendum þám ceólum se sǽ eode inn, Gr. D. 248, 27 ; so that bordremum refers to the edges of the ship's planks which parted from one another, thus making a gap through which the sea entered), Txts. 114, 112. bord-rima
