es; n. [ GREEK ] Ox-eye, chamomile; anthemis nobilis, Lin :-- Buoptalrnon . . . heó hafaþ geoluwe blóst-man eal swylce eáge, ðanon heó ðone naman onféng Ox-eye . . . it has yellow blossoms all like an eye, whence it took the name, Herb. 141, l; Lchdm. i. 262, 4. buoptalmon
