m. A mill-stone; molaris lapis, mola :-- Cwyrnstán mola, Wrt. Voc. 83, 8. Ðæt him wǽre getiged án ormǽte cwyrnstán to his swuran, and he swá wurde on deóppre sǽ besenced that an immense mill-stone was tied to his neck, and he was so sunk in the deep sea, Homl.
