ears-ling
adv. Only used adverbially with on, -- On the back, backwards; retrorsum:-- Sýn hí gecyrde on earsling be thei turned awey bacward, Wyc; avertantur retrorsurn. Ps. Th. 34, 5. Gán hý on ears-ling avertantur retrorsum, 6, 8.
