f. An end, destruction :-- Heó þrowað deáð bútan deáþe and ásprungennesse and ændeþrǽste bútan ænde þæs wítes mortem sine morte, et defectum sine defectu, et finem sine fine patitur, Gr. D. 337, 9. ende-þræst
