According to the Old English Dictionary:

eond-lýhtan

p. -lýhtde = -lýhte; pp. -lýhted = -lýhtd = -lýht [eond = geond through; lýhtan to shine] To shine through, enlighten; perlūmĭnāre, illūmĭnare :-- We ealle eondlýhte wǽron we were all enlightened, Nicod. 24; Thw. 12, 21. Swylce gylden sunna wǽre ofer us ealle eondlýhte a golden sun as it were shone over us all, 24; Thw. 12, 23, eond-lyhtan
