adj. Having a distant origin, coming from afar; e longinquo ortus :-- Sóna him seleþegn, síþes wérgum, feorrancundum forþ wísade forthwith the hall-thane guided him forth, weary from his journey, coming from afar, Beo. Th. 3594, note; B. 1795.
