p. fióde, pl. fiódon To hate; ōdisse :-- Fiógaþ yfel ōdīte mălurn, Ps. Spl. T. 96, 10. Ðæt is unriht ǽghwelcum men ðæt he óðerne fióge it is wicked in every man that he should hate another, Bt. Met. Fox 27, 47; Met. 27, 24.
