p. fióde, pl. fiódon To hate; ōdisse :-- Ic fióde cyrcean awyrgedra ōdīvi ecclēsiam malignantium, Ps. Spl. T. 25, 5. Hit nǽre nó manna ryht, ðæt hiora ǽnig óðerne fióde it would not be right in men, that any of them should hate another, Bt. 39, 1; Fox 212, 5.
