adj. Fleshly, carnal; carnălis :-- Unrihtlíc biþ ðæt se cristena mann flǽsclíce lustas gefremme unlawful it is for the Christian man to indulge in fleshly lusts, Homl. Th. ii. 100, 18. Swá swá ða gódan fæderas gewuniaþ heora flǽsclíce bearn þreágean sīcut bōni patres carnālĭbus fīliis sŏlent discĭplīnam tĕnēre, Bd. 1, 27; S. 490, 16.
