Substitute: A comrade in arms (? cf. fyrd-gestealla) :-- Bigstandað mé strange geneátas, þá ne willað mé æt þám stríðe geswícan . . . hié habbað mé tó hearran gecorene . . . mid swilcum mæg man rǽd geþencean, fón mid swilcum folcgesteallan (= -um ?) with such may one devise counsel, take (counsel) with such comrades, Gen. 287. folc-gestealla
