For-ferian

According to the Old English Dictionary:

for-ferian

to bring to an untimely end:--Gif hwá óðrum his unmagan oðfæste, and hé hine on þǽre fæstinge forferie (if the person accepting the charge cause the death of the person committed to his charge. Cf.
