For-genge

According to the Old English Dictionary:

for-genge

adj. Going with difficulty(?); of an arrangement, hard to carry out, impracticable(?):--Gyf hit on lencten gebyrige, ꝥ þæ þonne þǽre flǽscun geweorð on fisce gestriéne, búton ꝥ þis forgenge sié if it (the time for giving a contribution of food (including flesh meat)) happen in Lent, that then the value of the meat may be taken in fish, unless this arrangement be impracticable, Cht.
