- Take here for-yldan, and add: (1) to put off action. (a) with a case, (α) acc.:--Se sláwa ágǽlð and forielt (-ielð, ) ðæt weorc ðe him niédðearf wǽre tó wyrcanne piger necessaria agere negligit, Past. 283, 25.
