adj. Much-travelled, that has travelled far and wide :-- Se ilce Nathan wæs forliðen (cf. gelyðen, 26, 13), þæt hé wæs gefaren fram ǽlcen lande tó óðren, and fram sǽ to sǽ, swá þæt hé hæfde ealle eorðe gemǽren þurhfaren, St. A. ix. 11. for-liden
