According to the Old English Dictionary:

for-sewenlíce

comp. -lícor; ad contemptĭbĭlĭter, turpĭter :-- Swá he forsewenlícor biþ gewítnod for Godes naman, swá his wuldor biþ máre fór Gode the more ignominiously he is tortured for the name of God, the greater shall his glory be before God, Homl. Th. i. 486, 23. for-sewenlice
