f. [forsworen, pp. of forswerian to forswear; -nys, -nyss] False swearing, perjury; pejĕrātio, perjūrium :-- Cýpmannum gedafenaþ ðæt hi sóþfæstnysse healdon, and lofian heora þing búton láþre forsworennysse it is fitting to merchants that they hold truth, and praise their things without hateful perjury.
