forþ-yrnan
part. -yrnende; p. -arn, pl. -urnon; pp. -urnen To run forth or before, precede; præcurrĕre :-- Wæs, æfter forþyrnendre tíde, ymb fífhund wintra and tú and hundnigontig fram Cristes hidercyme it was, according to the time preceding, about five hundred and ninety-two years from Christ's coming hither, Bd. 1, 23; S. 485, 18. forþ-yrnan
