- Add: (1) without constraint or reluctance, willingly :-- Þonne se man syngað freólíce bútan ǽlcere sceame, Angl. vii. 40, 451: Cri. 1291. Heó þæt ǽrende onféng freólíce, Hy. 10, 15. (2) without restraint or reserve in regard to speech :-- Ðá unwaran láreówas ne durron ryht freólíce lǽran and unforwandodlíce sprecan, Past. 89, 12. Suá micle freólícor hé tǽlð óðre menn suá hé lǽs ongitt his ágene uncysta, 273, 1.
