Substitute: Milk fresh from the cow (?), the best milk:--Frummeoluc nectar (in the same glossary nectar is variously rendered by wín, þone swétan smæc, wín-gedrinc, hunig oððe mildeáw, and nectareus by hunígteárlic, the word, as in later times, seems to have been used vaguely in a favourable sense of drink), Wrt.
