f. A ganging weaver, spider; viītĭca arānea :-- Ðú gedést ðæt he aswint on his móde, and wyrþ swá tedre swá swá gangewifran nett thou causest that he dwindles away in his mind, and becomes as frail as a spider's web, Ps. Th. 38, 12. Swindan ðú dydest swá swá gangewæfre [áttercoppan MS. T.] sáwle his tabescĕre fēcisti sīcut arāneam anĭmam ejus, Ps. Spl. 38, 15. gange-wifre
