f. [æht valuation, estimation] Estimation, consideration; æstĭmātio, delībĕrātio :-- Hý, on wíggetawum, wyrðe þinceaþ eorla geæhtlan, they, in their war-equipments, appear of the estimation of earls, Beo. Th. 743; B. 369. Grein and Heyne give geǽhtla persecutor; cf. éhtan; then eorla geǽhtlan would mean warriors. ge-æhtle
