- p. de; pp. ed; [ge-, bígan to bow, bend] To bow, bend, turn, inflect or decline a part of speech, twist, bow down, humble, bring under, subdue, crush; flectĕre, inflectĕre, declīnāre. humiliāre :-- He hí to fulluhte gebígde he brought them to baptism, H.
