adj. Fit, apt, suitable, opportune :-- Genóh gecóplicu wíse hí sylfe gegearwode occasio apta se praebuit, Gr. D. 60, 5. Gecóplice word forðstæppan of múðe þínum þænne þú gecóplicne tíman fintst oportuna uerba procedant ex ore tuo cum oportunum tempus inueneris, Scint. 81, 18.
