- p. -creáp, pl. -crupon To creep, crawl. (1) of a human being :-- Hé ne meahte gangan, ac hé gecreáp in þá ciricean he could not walk, but he crawled into the church, Shrn. 126, 25. (2) of a reptile :-- Gecreáp þǽr inn tó þám hálgan men sum unhýre nǽddre, Gr. D. 211, 13. ge-creopan
