adj. Yeaning; enītens, pariens :-- Ðú wást ðæt ic hæbbe hnesce litlingas, and ge-eáne eówa mid me thou knowest that I have tender infants and yeaning sheep with me, Gen. 33, 13; tu scis [MS. nosti = novisti], quod parvŭlos hăbeam tĕnĕros et oves fētas mecum, Vulg. Gen. 33, 13.
