ge-éþian
p. ode To breathe. (1) lit. :-- Bewreów ðone man ꝥ se æþm ne mæge út náhwǽr, bútan hé mæge geéþian, Lch. ii. 338, 19. (2) fig. :-- Wé magon witan ꝥ þonne se gást wile hé geéðað tó þæs mannes mode sciendum est quia quando vult spiritus aspirat, Gr. D. 146, 14. ge-eþian
