ge-fyrht
Substitute: ge-fyrhtan, -fyrhtian; p. te, ode; -fyrht, -fyrhted (-od). I. to make afraid. Take here instances under ge-fyrhtian in Dict., and add:--Ic wæs swíðe gefyrhted and gebréged (perterritus), Bd. 5, 12; Sch. 617, 18. Gefyrhtedo wéron conterriti, Lk. L. 34, 37.
