ge-leáflíce
adv. I. credibly, in a manner that commands or allows belief:--Hí heofenan ríce mid Hǽlende ástigon swá swá wíse láreówas geleáflíce secgað (as we are credibly informed by learned doctors), Hml. Th. ii. 258, 29. Ús is tó witonne þætte ꝥ wæs geleáflíce gestihtod þæt Jóseph fór tó Bethlem fram Galilea we are to know that without doubt it was ordained that Joseph went to Bethlehem from Galilee, Nap. 81.
