According to the Old English Dictionary:

ge-lútan
Add: I. of movement. (1) intrans. To bend the body :-- Þá lócode hé þǽr geloten and gebíged in þone ofn in clibanum incurvatus aspexit, Gr. D. 251, 26. (2) trans. To bend the head, place on a couch, recline :-- Sunu mannes ne hæfis huér heáfud gehlútes l gebéges (reclinet), Mt. L. 8, 20: p. 15, 16. II. of the day, to decline, approach an end :-- Ofernón oððe geloten dæg suprema (cf. suprema, quando sol suppremit, Corp. Gl. H. 112, 654; and :-- Þeáh seó sunne ofer midne dæg lúte tó þǽre eorþan, Bt. 25; F. 88, 25), Wrt. Voc. 53. 14. ge-lutan
