- Add: I. to approach, draw near :-- Tó geneólécde l gehnéhwade (adpropinquavit) ríc heofna, Mt. L. 10, 7. II. to consent. Cf. ge-neálǽcan; VII :-- Ðes ne efne-genéhuade (-ginéhwadæ, R. ) tó dédum hiora hic non consenserat actibus eorum, Lk. 23, 51.
