ge-scamian
p. ode; pp. od. I. erŭbescĕre :-- Sýn gecyrred underbæc and gescamian, ða ðe wyllaþ me yfelu avertantur retrorsum et erŭbescant, qui vŏlunt mihi măla, Ps. Spl. 69, 3. II. v. trans. impers. To shame, cause or bring shame to; pŭdēre :-- Sceal gescamian ða unrihtwísan it shall shame the wicked; erŭbescant impii, Ps. Th. 30, 20. Gescamige hí, let it shame them; erŭbescant, Ps. Spl. 82, 16. v. ge-sceamian. ge-scamian
