p. -téde; pp. -teád To make, prepare :-- Ðæt land mid to teágenne. Ðá ðæt land ðá geteád wæs to prepare the land with. When then the land was prepared; preparata terra, Bd. 4, 28; S. 605, 33. Ðone ilcan mete ðe he hí ǽror mid tame getéde the same food with which before he had made them tame [the prose has ða ilcan mettas ðe hí ǽr tame mid gewenedon, Fox 88, 18], Bt. Met.
