ge-þíwan
p. de; pp. ed To threaten, rebuke, oppress :-- Simon me mid his englum geþíwde Simon threatened me with his angels, Homl. Th. i. 378, 2. Óþ-ðæt hio óðer folc egsan geþíwdan until they oppressed other people with fear, Ps. Th. 104, 11.
